Italian Citizenship Translation is a one-woman translation business supported by a network of screened and reliable independent contractors who are registered at courts throughout the Italian territory.
We are all accredited professionals: traduttori giurati (sworn translators) or CTU, consulenti tecnici d’ufficio (court-appointed translators). We have helped dozens of dual citizenship applicants obtain their certified and sworn Italian translations for applications made at Italian consulates or municipalities, or by filing an appeal to the Civil Court of Rome (for the so-called 1948 cases).
The core aim of our partnership is to provide highly-specific translation services from English to Italian for people of Italian descent who wish to reconnect with their roots and be recognized as Italian citizens.

Marina is the founder, owner, and lead translator at Italian Citizenship Translation.
She is a native speaker of Italian and a sworn translator from English to Italian, with extensive experience translating vital records and court documents. She has collaborated for several years with lawyers and consultants to provide linguistic assistance to dual citizenship applicants from the US and UK.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation, a Master’s Degree in Specialized English to Italian Translation, and a certificate in Translation Quality Management, she is the perfect fit for the translation of your documents.
She is also registered as a language professional at the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Palermo and Enna and as a CTU (consulente tecnico d’ufficio or court-appointed translator) at the Court of Palermo. This means that her translations can be authenticated in court to become legally valid in Italy.
She will personally translate your documents or accurately review any outsourced translations, so you can be confident in the quality of the final result.
